New amphitheater in nomadic style built in Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
A solemn event dedicated to the opening of the unique amphitheater “Dordoi Nomad” was held In the Kyrgyzstan, village of Bostery, Issyk-Kul oblast, on October 22, the public fund “The Foundation for Progressive Initiatives of Askar Salymbekov” reported.
This amphitheater is a unique object, which has no analogues in Central Asia. Its capacity is about 1000 spectators, the design of the amphitheater is made in a nomadic style.
The object was built in 3 months. The location of the amphitheater is arranged in such a way that viewers immediately see the Issyk-Kul lake behind the scenes.
The high-level cultural and sporting events will be held on the amphitheater site. Also, the audience can see the performances of the storytellers of the Manas epic, a contest of akyns.
